Trust Secures CNG-Related “Tiger Team” Assistance

The Chicago Infrastructure Trust has finalized an agreement with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) that solidifies a working relationship in which the latter’s Clean Cities Technical Assistance (Tiger Team) will provide pro bono consulting services to the Trust over the next six months. Specifically, the Tiger Team will provide the Trust with dedicated technical and analytical alternative fuel expertise for its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Initiative.

The CNG Initiative seeks to reduce air pollution and provide businesses and the people of the City of Chicago with access to cleaner and cheaper, domestically-sourced fueling options. The Trust is excited to work with the NREL to develop a solution that will, potentially, provide broad public access to alternative fueling stations.
