Park District Enters ESA Agreement with Trust

The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners, on January 14, 2015, authorized an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Chicago Infrastructure Trust to provide energy efficiency services to up to 68 parks districtwide.  The Trust, as project owner, will undertake the development, acquisition, and construction of the project with the District’s obligation limited to the energy savings produced by the project through an Energy Savings Agreement (ESA) structure. The District will incur no payment obligation if the project does not produce energy savings.
