The Chicago Infrastructure Trust has applied for a $500K Building Industry Training and Education (BITE) grant through Illinois’ Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). The grant would support a training and roll-out program for the Trust’s ongoing Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) initiative, in conjunction with the creation of a City ordinance permitting the program. The DCEO is expected to award the grant in Spring 2015.
