Park District Enters ESA Agreement with Trust
The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners, on January 14, 2015, authorized an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Chicago Infrastructure Trust to provide energy efficiency services to up to 68 parks districtwide. The Trust, as project owner, will undertake the development, acquisition, and construction of the project with the District’s obligation limited to the energy savings produced by the project through an Energy Savings Agreement (ESA) structure.

Trust Secures CNG-Related “Tiger Team” Assistance
The Chicago Infrastructure Trust has finalized an agreement with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) that solidifies a working relationship in which the latter’s Clean Cities Technical Assistance (Tiger Team) will provide pro bono consulting services to the Trust over the next six months. Specifically, the Tiger Team will provide the Trust with dedicated technical and analytical alternative fuel expertise for its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
