Construction for the Municipal Buildings Retrofit project is underway and will be led by Ameresco Inc., Noresco, LLC and Schneider Electric Buildings Americas, Inc.
Some of the 60 locations to be serviced include:
- City Hall
- Harold Washington Library
- Public Safety Headquarters
- Chicago Cultural Center
- Roseland Health Center
- 11th District Police Station
- Pershing Road Warehouse
The Trust forecasts an 18% annual reduction in building energy usage as a result of the initiative, equating to approximately $1.4M in savings on an annual basis.
